“Spirit in the Sky”
This Mini painting is my interpretation of the view of the Superstition Mountains seen from the Usery Mountain range. It is made from rocks collected from the Usery Mountains, and naturally sourced powdered pigment. It is a combination of movement filled, windswept skies and thick textured foreground. The texture you can see and feel is made from the handmade paint that is derived from the mountains themselves.
Each mini painting comes with a display easel.
The Morning was windy and brisk, I climbed with intention and excitement, as the silhouette of the Superstions rose in the distance. My heart leapt when I crested the last hill and the full view of my mountains was in sight. I feverishly set up my easel and went to work. The beauty of that day is forever etched in my heart.
