Oil on Canvas
30”x40”
“Heavenly Fire”
Heavy grief, floods, every fiber of my being
Tearing through me with pain.
Heaves of sobbing
Waves of deep retching,
soul, fiber ripping
pain
pain.
The depth of this despair swirls,
Threatening to steal every last shred of hope,
The weight is unbearable,
crushing
suffocating
I am nothing
I am withered
Laid bare.
Yet, in the unseen realm:
Burning fire rips through me, around me,
The depths of creation fill my soul.
Angels are loosed on my behalf.
