"Reflections of Grace"
“Reflections of Grace”
His light, it Beckins,
Deep calling to deep
Questions
Disbelief
He calls
He Beckins
The light
It shimmers over the water
Ripples
Manifesting as visible striations,
Foreshadowing,
The stripes he would bear.
He calls.
Will you join me in the deep?
Will you take my hand?
Will you step out into open waters?
Will you believe for what only I can do?
Will you release my light?
Will you reflect my glory?
This collection began as a call, a call to be set apart, a call to hide myself in him. “Will you come away with me?” “Will you hide yourself in me?” What I thought would be a two-day process has turned into a weeks and months-long process of healing with the Lord. Learning to stay hidden in him as he refines me, as a silversmith refines the dross out of the silver. In doing so, I am feverishly drawn to create and produce just as a widow who never ran out of oil until she ran out of jars, too, so the creation processes unfolded. In my studio, I come in yearning, hungry to paint, play, and create. Each time I reach for a canvas, he pours out what is meant to be on it. I seem to have no shortage of canvases. Canvases seem to reveal themselves from every hiding place, relentless in their desire to be utilized. I feverishly produce, surrounded by the work that is pouring out like oil. I pray that this collection brings a new revelation of God‘s goodness and a new revelation of his calling in your life.
The Original is a 24” x 24” Mixed Media Oil on canvas, stretched on a wooden frame.
Also Available in archival-quality canvas print and Archival Paper Prints. A beautiful way to add character and beauty to your home, at an affordable price. Canvases come ready to hang.
